Mary Bullock

New Missionary
Note:  Mary Bullock has recently joined the mission team in Tanzania.  She was previously a public school teacher for many years.  She has also has lived and taught in a Bible School in Zimbabwe, Africa.

I arrived in Tanzania on January 14, 2003.  The days have been filled with learning Kiswahili, the Tanzanian culture, and developing many new relationships.  I thank God for the privilege of serving Him and experiencing prophecy being fulfilled in and through my life.
While I am learning so much about the language, the people and the country, God is opening doors for me to minister in area churches and from time-to-time in a couple of different ladies’ Bible studies – one here in the campus church and another made up of community women.  In addition, days are filled with trips to town for various needs of the compound and with administrative duties as needed.
I am looking forward to teaching at Christian Centre Bible College beginning second term.  I have visited several classes during the first term and am impressed with the response of the students and the quality of the teaching staff.  They are doing a great job!  There is a tremendous hunger to know God and His Word better and to see it applied in practical ways is the lives of the students and teachers alike.

Some of the students are already pastors, evangelists and teachers ministering to local congregations.  They ask some good questions about how they can effectively teach their congregations the principles of God’s word.  Listening to them has begun to give insight into the kind of issues they must address in ministering to the congregations God has entrusted them with.
Most of all we appreciate and need your prayers for God’s wisdom in ministering to those He has allowed to be under our influence.  It is the blessing of the Lord that brings fruitfulness and He adds no sorrow with it!
