Kenya Harvest Christian Church Districts

We have 9 districts in Kenya, with a varied number of churches in each district. A church in America sponsors each district. The basic way to sponsor a district is to commit to sending $100  a month for the overseer of that district to be able to visit all his churches and hold monthly leadership meetings in his district.

    Then the sponsoring church sends their pastor or a team to visit that district at least every other year some come every year. When they come they get to see the needs of that district first hand and then go home and rally the members of their church to meet some of those needs.

    Then the next time he visits he comes with provision. That way there is no room for money to go astray or be used in any way except for how it was given. It is administered by the pastor or by us here at the school. Each quarter during our break time here at the school, the overseers come into the school for an overseers meeting with teaching and giving of reports, at that time they are given their travel allowances for the next term. It is working very well.

We still need three sponsoring churches. One for Kisii and one each for the 2 Meru districts.
