Founding Vision

Over Forty years ago, Pastors Leonard and Rozella Fox caught a vision for the Nation of Kenya, East Africa.  It took a large step of faith to send a family and support them as they dug out a work in a foreign land.  From that step of faith and commitment to sacrifice, Kenya Revival Center and Harvest Fields Bible School and Churches were birthed.

270 graduates (as of November 2002) have been trained at Harvest Fields and launched into full-time ministry, as well as over 120 churches established in Harvest Christian Churches. we have multiplied 100 fold.  Now, doors have opened to the neighboring country of Tanzania. In 1997 East African Ministries expanded into Tanzania where we have registered both a Church and a Bible college.

A new facility in Arusha, Tanzania has been purchased. The facility presently has rooms for about 40 students and can be expanded to around 65 by fixing up some other rooms that we have, also guest rooms for conferences. We were able to purchase this property for a small cash down payment and a short term loan of only $75,000, locating us in the center of the East African nations. Once again the Lord has asked us to "let out our nets," and do what seems impossible.  However, we know God provides that which is needed for each task. Luke 5:5-7... Jesus commanded that they let out their nets, and as they did, so great was the catch, that they signaled to their partners who then came alongside to help, as we signal you today. It took both ships together, to reap in the bountiful harvest. At this hour the harvest is great and just as great is the need for partners. We invite you to come and partner with us as we expand our outreach to the continent of Africa. Join us in celebration of the miraculous restoration of our church organization in Kenya; also, in the wonderful story of our new and vibrant Lake Duluti Christian Center Church, College, and Christian Conference Center.
